Appears on Geekbench, Galaxy M53 5G Powered by Dimensity 900 and 6GB RAM

Samsung recently introduced its newest “budget-friendly” smartphone, which is part of the Galaxy M Series family. The smartphones are Galaxy M23 5G and Galaxy M33 5G. Yes! Although promised to be sold at an affordable price, both have brought 5G technology.

Now, it seems that the South Korean electronics giant will debut the successor to the Galaxy M52. According to MySmartPrice’s report, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M53 5G has been spotted on Geekbench, and revealed some of its specifications as well as some of its initial features.

The Geekbench listing reveals that the Galaxy M53 5G carries the model number SM-M536B. This device will be powered by an Octa-core ARM MT6877V/ZA CPU. This is the code-name for MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 5G chipset which is built with 6nm fabrication.

We can also see, this smartphone managed to achieve a score of 726 points in the Single-Core test. Meanwhile, in Multi-Core testing, Geekbench noted that the Galaxy M53 5G was able to score up to 2168 points. We also know that this smartphone will run on Android 12 and have 6 GB of RAM.

Yes! Running with the Android 12 operating system, of course, Samsung will certainly pack this smartphone with the OneUI 4.0 interface. Meanwhile, 6GB of RAM is probably the most basic model. That is, there will be a Galaxy M53 5G with 8 GB of RAM.

Regarding the price, of course Samsung is still closing the meeting about it. We are also difficult to guess the price of the smartphone. It’s good, we try to compare with its predecessor, the Galaxy M52 5G. In the Indonesian market, the Galaxy M52 5G is priced at IDR 5.4 million with 8 GB of RAM.

Samsung also packs the Galaxy M52 5G with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel and has an FHD+ resolution. Samsung also packs this smartphone with a 120Hz refresh rate screen and has a thin bezel design. Galaxy M52 5G is equipped with a 32MP front camera for selfie shots.

Samsung feeds the Galaxy M52 5G with Snapdragon 778G. Shifting to the back, this smartphone has been equipped with a 64MP main camera, 12 MP ultra-wide lens, and 5 MP macro lens. For power supply, the smartphone has a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging technology.

It comes with a dual-SIM slot and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB. The Galaxy M52 5G has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and supports face unlock. This smartphone runs Android 11 with OneUI on it. There’s also support for a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.
