VIVA – WithU Yamaha RNF racer, Andrea Dovizioso, had an accident while undergoing the 2022 MotoGP pre-season test at the Mandalika Circuit, on Saturday 12 February 2022. The accident occurred during a session that took place in the morning.
Bad luck befell Dovizioso on the second day of the 2022 MotoGP pre-season test at the Mandalika Circuit. Dovizioso had an accident so that the YZR-M1 motorbike he was riding was partially crushed.
The photo of Dovizioso’s motorbike that was crushed in half was uploaded by Sky Sport Italy via Instagram. Luckily, the Italian racer was not injured and in good condition.
“Dovizioso crashed in the morning session. His Yamaha motorcycle was partially destroyed,” wrote Sky Sports Italia.
“The driver was fine even though he was rolling in the sand where he hit his head.”
In the photo, the front of Dovizioso’s motorbike suffered the most damage. In addition, the fairing on the left side cannot be installed anymore.
