Ana de Armas reportedly in negotiations to take the lead role in the spinoff project John Wick entitled Ballerina. The film, which will focus on a young female killer who seeks revenge against those who killed her family, will be directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld, Underworld: Evolution).
For Ana de Armas, if the negotiation process goes smoothly, then this project will be another big film in a career that is on the rise. De Armas recently appeared in No Time to Die which was released this year, and will be starring soon Blondein which she will play actress Marilyn Monroe.
Len Wiseman will direct the Ballerina project, based on a script by Shay Hatten (Army of the Dead, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum). trilogy director John Wick, Chad Stahelski will serve as producer, as will star, Keanu Reeves. At the moment, it’s unclear if Reeves will appear in this spinoff, but if he does, he may just be making a cameo. The film will be overseen by Brady Fujikawa, Chelsea Kujawa and James Myers from Lionsgate. FYI before, star Kick-Ass, Chloe Grace Moretz rumored to be the main character.
