Station Eleven is a series currently airing on HBO GO, adapted from the book of the same name by Emily St. John Mandel. For the film version, it will be made by Patrick Somerville

This drama series tells a post-apocalyptic story spanning multiple timelines. Tells the intertwined stories of survivors as they seek to rebuild and reimagine the world in new ways while preserving the best of what has been lost.

The End is the Beginning

The synopsis is as follows

A Hollywood star, his would-be savior, and a band of nomadic actors roam the outposts dotted across the Great Lakes region, risking everything for art and humanity.

One snowy night a famous Hollywood actor fell and died on stage during the production of King Lear.

A few hours later, the world as we know it begins to dissolve. Moving back and forth in time—from the actor’s early days as a film star to fifteen years in the future, as the theater troupe known as the Traveling Symphony explores what remains

The series charts a strange twist of fate that connects five people: the actor, the man who tries to save him, the actor’s first wife, his oldest friend, and the young actress with the Traveling Symphony, caught up in the targets of a self-proclaimed prophet.

S1.E1: “Wheel of Fire”

Jeevan Chaudhary and Kirsten Raymonde met when Arthur Leander died; each facing a decision that could save their life.

S1.E2: “A Hawk from a Handsaw”

Kirsten and her Twenty Years family, Shakespeare’s troupe called The Traveling Symphony, meet
a mysterious man on his way to perform at St. Deborah-by-the-Water.

S1.E3: “Hurricane”

Miranda Carroll reflects on her relationship with Arthur Leander and Dr. Eleven when she fights
for him one chance to survive.

S1.E4: “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Not Dead”

Kirsten pushes the Traveling Symphony off track to unravel the mystery of the Prophet.

S1.E5: “The Severn City Airport”

Clark Thompson, Elizabeth Colton, and Arthur’s son, Tyler, land in Severn City, Michigan.

S1.E6: “Survival is Insufficient”

Kirsten leaves the Traveling Symphony to track down The Prophet; conductor
accepted the invitation that broke his heart.

Station Eleven

S1.E7: “Goodbye My Damaged Home”

Kirsten travels to her deepest trauma, returning to the apartment with Jeevan and Frank.

S1.E8: “Who’s There?”

Kirsten comes to the Traveling Symphony’s rescue and finds herself caught in a family conflict
which started twenty years ago.

S1.E9: “Dr. Chaudhary”
Jeevan and Kirsten surviving their first winter on earth come to an argument that sends Jeevan on an unexpected path.

Kirsten executes her plan to free the Traveling Symphony; Miranda tries to live right
life.
