Choi Ung and Kook Yeon Su’s documentary filming journey has finally come to an end. In the midst of their happiness, there is the figure of Kim Ji Ung who is still adrift with a myriad of feelings. The ending of this drama was not very pleasant for the director of the TV documentary.

The final review of Our Beloved Summer is reviewed in the latest episode of the Drama Podcast! detikcom which can be listened directly below:

Our Beloved Summer begins its story sweetly and warmly, although at a fairly slow tempo. The characters that appear come with everyday problems that are not exaggerated and feel very human. Choi Ung and Kook Yeon Su’s inner struggles are depicted in real terms so it’s easy to love these two characters.

Kim Da Mi and Choi Woo Shik display fun chemistry as a couple to sworn enemies. The tug of war and hate-to-love relationships that their characters show are indeed one of the main attractions of the drama in Our Beloved Summer.

Secret after secret revealed one by one towards the end of the season. Along with the reunion of the couple who fell in love during high school, the audience’s attention was shifted to the figure of Kim Ji Ung who was very instrumental in this couple’s relationship. The happy ending for Choi Ung and Kook Yeon Su was unfortunately not something too pleasant for Kim Ji Ung.

Dramatic Podcast Episodes! This latest update also discusses a little about the lineup of supporting characters in Our Beloved Summer. Who has an important role and who only appears as a cheerleader? To be sure, if there is a character that is underappreciated throughout this drama, it is Chae Ran. His support for Kim Ji Ung is huge but apparently no bigger than Ji Ung’s feelings for Yeon Su.

Although it was a relief for some viewers, others felt that the ending of the Korean drama Our Beloved Summer was less than satisfactory. There may also be some in the audience who grumble about the ending of some characters’ stories. However, the series, which is played by Kim Da Mi, Choi Woo Shik, and Kim Sung Cheol, is still one of the light choices that is good to watch during breaks or just before going to bed.
