VIVA – Achmad Nugraha Juanda was officially inaugurated as Chairman of the Indonesian Baseball and Softball Association (Perbasasi) West Java Province for the 2022-2026 term. The ceremony was led directly by the General Chairperson of PB Perbasasi Andika Monoarfa.
This activity was carried out at the West Java KONI Building, Thursday 3 February 2022, as a follow-up to the Perbasasi Provincial Deliberation on 8 January 2022 which established Achmad Nugraha Juanda as Chair of the West Java Provincial Government.
After being inaugurated, Achmad immediately explained his work program which was summarized in five points. The goal is to realize the mission of reclaiming the gold medal at the 2024 National Sports Week which will be held in Aceh and North Sumatra.

The five things include early childhood development, application of sport science, regular inter-city/regency competitions, increasing solidity, and improving organizational governance & inter-institutional synergy.
“After the inauguration, we immediately worked to socialize the work program and softball development mission to the regions, because West Java is very large and it is impossible to develop without cooperation with administrators at the district and city levels,” said Achmad Nugraha Juanda.
“Our target is to win a gold medal at the 2024 PON in Aceh and make baseball and softball the branding of West Java as well as become champions,” he added.
In addition to the General Chairperson of PB Perbasasi, the inauguration of 22 members of the board was also attended by the General Chairperson of the West Java KONI, the Head of the West Java Dispora, the Chair of the West Java Perbasation Provincial Administration and the Heads of City & Regency Perbasasi throughout West Java.
