VIVA – Two team players from Yogyakarta, DNA Bima Perkasa were called to the Indonesian Basketball National Team. These two players are Indra Muhammad and Ikram Fadhil.
Indra and Ikram will join the Indonesian basketball team starting Thursday 10 February 2022. Together with 19 other players, Indra and Ikram will undergo training with the national team to compete in the FIBA Asia Cup which will be held in the near future and the 2022 FIBA World Cup qualification.
This is not the first time that Indra was called to join the basketball team. Previously, Indra was called by the coach of the Indonesian basketball team, Rojko Toroman in 2019.
Joining the Indonesian basketball team is an exciting thing for Indra. When asked about his target in the Indonesian basketball team, the DNA Bima Perkasa player numbered 24 did not want to be grandiose.
Indra said that with the Indonesian basketball team, he wanted to give the best. “Wherever and whenever I have to give everything because that’s what I was taught since I was little,” said Indra, Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
Meanwhile, Bima Perkasa’s DNA coach, Kartika Siti Aminah, gave full support to his two players in the Indonesian basketball team. Kartika believes that his call-up and experience with the national team will have a positive impact on the team and for the two players themselves.
“I think this will have a positive impact on everyone. They can also raise the graphics of their game which will have a good impact on our team,” said Kartika.
