18th Day of Invasion, Zelenskiy Says Russia Can’t Conquer Ukraine Until Putin Urges To Stop The War

TRIBUNNEWS.COM, KIEV – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy says Russia will not be able to conquer his country.

In addition, seven civilians died while trying to escape the fighting around Kiev.

Those are two facts and events that happened from the many that happened during the eighteenth day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Sunday (13/3/2022).

The following is a series of facts and events that occurred during the eighteenth day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine as summarized from the Guardian:

1. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy claimed Russian troops did not have the strength or passion to conquer Ukraine.

In his latest video speech on Saturday (12/3.2022) evening, Zelenskiy said: “The Russian invaders will not be able to conquer us.”

“They don’t have that kind of power… They just stick to violence.”

2. Seven civilians died after being hit by Russian fire while trying to escape fighting near Kiev.

Ukraine initially accused Russia of shooting at a convoy of civilian refugees from the village of Peremoha while they were on a designated humanitarian corridor, but later said it was not such a route.
